Faculty Bios

Mrs. Rachael Bischof-                                                            OWNER AND DIRECTOR OF RACHAEL'S DANCE UNLIMITED, TEACHER, ENTREPRENEUR, CHOREOGRAPHER, CREATIVE DIRECTOR, WINNER OF TEACHERS AWARD 2015, NATIONAL DANCE TEACHER OF THE YEAR 2019 AND MOTHER OF 4!

Rachael has been in the Lock Haven area for 28 years teaching Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Pointe, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary and Competitive dance inspiring dancers and teachers to experience the wonderful world of dance! Originally from Montoursville, Pa, Rachael grew up dancing since the age of three. Having performed locally, both in dance and theatre, Rachael starting attending dance conventions across the United States and trained under such Master Teachers and performers such as: Al Gilbert, Darryl and Linda Retter, Janice Barringer, Joan Lather, Keith Clifton,  Jerry Rose, Dena Rizzo,Bob Rizzo, Jason Kalish, Savion Glover, Frank Hatchett, Becca Retter, Thommie Retter, Gina Badone, Chris Rogers, Aleksandra Wojda, Brooke Paulsen, Rhonda Miller and personally assisted Debbie Dee in a master class on tour.  Rachael furthered her education in the arts and went on to get her cosmetology license. Winning 1st place in her hair designs, she competed against 19 other Empire Beauty Schools. Her Dance performance  piece from the musical cats, to showcase her theatrical make-up designs, and ultimately help save the theatrical makeup program, did not go unnoticed in her solo dance presentation to the directors of those 19 Empire Schools as well. Rachael has a love and passion for the art of dance, she is commited to her studio and students. For Rachael, Dancing is Unlimited

 

Meredith Robinson

Meredith began dancing at the age of 3. At the age of 9, she began dancing under the instruction of Rachael Bischof with Rachael's Dance Unlimited. When Meredith was 13 years old she was asked by Rachael to assist with teaching dance classes. As of 2015, she has been teaching with Rachael for 21 years. 

Meredith's studied styles of dance include classical ballet and pointe work, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, musical theatre, and contemporary.

Meredith has trained at the Northeast Workshop for Dancers under the instruction of world famous instructors such as Al Gilbert, Darryl Retter, Debbie Dee, Bob Rizzo, Janice Barringer, Jerry Rose, Savion Glover,Keith Clifton, Jason Kalish, Dena Rizzo, Mary Boday-Price, Joanie "Ms. Puffie" Lather, Barry Lather, Brooke Paulsen, Ron Daniels, and Becca Retter. She has also recently trained at the Dance Teacher Connection in Indianapolis, Indiana with Thommie Retter, Gina Badone, Aleksandra Wojda, Linda Retter, Brandon Jarrett, and Chris Rogers.

Meredith continues to teach in hopes of inspiring young boys and girls to dance and find their passion for dancing.

Nicole Vuocolo

Teacher, Choreographer.  Nicole started her dance career when she was 4 years old.  Rachael acquired the dance studio where she was taking classes when she was a junior in high school.  She was a junior instructor under her previous dance owner and continued assisting Rachael until graduating high school.  While attending college at Lock Haven University majoring in Elementary Education, she stayed on staff with Rachael as an instructor.  She has helped mold young children’s love of dance with Rachael for 25 years, with a break for two years pursuing her career as an elementary school teacher in South Carolina.  Immediately after returning to the area she returned to her home at RDU, to continue to inspire young children and adults to love dance.  She has attended three teacher conventions and furthered her dance education through master classes and instructional opportunities with professional dancers and well known choreographers from all over the United States.  Her love of dance and nurturing personality create a welcoming environment for all dance students to grow and excel in their dance education.  

Caprice Bischof

Caprice is a dance instructor and a Team Edge competition dance coach at Rachael's Dance Unlimited. For 17 years she has trained in all styles of dance, although she has a special interest in contemporary and jazz. She has competed for many years and has received many awards for her routines.  Having gone through the assistant teaching program, she has taught all ages and levels. Throughout the years she has danced in Disney, at Times Square in New York City and on Broadway. She was also on the dance team at Slippery Rock University. She has trained with Dance Teacher Connection  every year since 2015 and as of 2020 she will be furthering her education in Los Angles, California.
